Many of our customer applications use this functionality to automatically enrich data in the PIM system or to create new data sets. The functionality corresponds to the procedure for output via API. However, the import routine offers further possibilities for data manipulation.
Mapping of Import Data
Data often comes from global systems within a company. It is stored in various databases there, making it necessary to integrate multiple importers.
Every import needs a primary characteristic to know which item to enrich with data.
The imports can be customized as follows by our development team. For example, if imports have specific fields with acronyms that have a different meaning when spoken, this will be implemented with the import. Another use case can be the construction of a product title, which is to be assembled from multiple fields. Many other scenarios can be realized using this functionality.
