are available to import, edit, and provide data as structurally as possible. The filters and types also ensure that data can be selected and found.
Units of measurement
The unit of measurement field is a special type consisting of a total of three field types.
- Accuracy (equal to, approximately, less than, greater than)
- to the value (price, weight, content, quantity, etc.)
- and the format (€, kg, g, com, mm etc.).
This allows for ideal representation of ingredients, allergens, vitamins, prices, etc.
Validations, Validity
Fields can be validated based on criteria. For example, the input of „text only“ or „numbers only“.
The validity of fields is also configurable. For example, prices or certain properties can be created according to a time period. Similarly, visibility within the system can be controlled. This makes it possible to have fields in the system but only display them in the backend.
Field Limitations
Field limits are adjustable for multi-line and single-line text. Here, they are based on bytes or characters. The byte limit is a special case and is necessary, for example, to limit search terms for Amazon A9 backend keywords to 249 bytes. If it were more, Amazon would currently ignore all keywords.
